The AGM is your chance to gain valuable insights into the past year’s accomplishments and the exciting plans we have in store for the future. You will also hear how much the Board of Directors are proposing to return to account holders from the profit made during the year and where we believe the £20,000 community donation should be focused. On this page you’ll find information on the AGM agenda, the Minutes from the 2025 AGM, the 2024-2025 Accounts and Northern Community Bank’s 2026 brochure.
We’ve chosen a hybrid format to ensure inclusivity and accessibility. Whether you’re in Cumbria, Preston, Lancaster or the wider East Lancashire area, or if you prefer participating from the comfort of your home, we’ve got you covered.
There will be a raffle for those who attend in-person or log-on virtually during the AGM. The raffle is held at the end of the AGM with prizes include x5 £100 supermarket vouchers, for a store of the winner’s choice.

The virtual element of the AGM will start at 7pm.
We will be using the GoToWebinar platform for the meeting, hosted by ABCUL, the Association of British Credit Unions. ABCUL have hosted a number of AGMs for other Community Banks and Credit Unions across the UK over recent weeks, so everything is tried and tested! The platform is free of charge to use however requires an internet connection and audio (a headset is recommended but not essential).
Please register for the meeting using the ‘Virtual Registration’ button on this page. By completing the online registration you will be provided with a confirmation email immediately containing a second link, this will be needed to join the meeting on the day of the AGM. Please do not share this link as this is unique for you. Before joining, be sure to check the system requirements to avoid any connection issues.
During the meeting, all account holders will be ‘muted’ during the presentation. You can ‘ask virtual questions’ at any time by typing in the ‘Question’ section. We will be monitoring questions throughout the meeting, and will either reply in the question area, raise your question during ‘Any Other Business’, or in some cases, respond afterwards.
Voting will be live in the meeting with instant results. The vote will be on screen, and account holders simply select their preference. We will hold a test vote at the start of the meeting, so that everybody can practice before the main voting takes place.
We look forward to welcoming you to the AGM. Please don’t forget to register to be a part of this important event.
