What benefits does the calculator check for?
The calculators will check for most benefits including Child Benefit, Universal Credit, Pension Credit, Housing and Council Tax benefit. Most calculators will also inform you of other things you could claim. Some of these include Healthy Start Vouchers, Free prescriptions and the Warm Home discount.
Is there a limit to the number of children I can claim Child Benefit for?
With Child Benefit you can claim it for each one of your children up to the age of 16yrs old. The amount for the eldest child is £24 and for each child after is £15.90. This is paid every 4 weeks.
