Northern Community Bank is pleased to introduce our Refer a Friend Programme, encouraging existing account holders to refer friends and family to join us.

  1. This promotion is organised by Northern Community Bank, the trading name of Pennine Community Credit Union Ltd. Authorised by the Prudential Regulation Authority and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority and the Prudential Regulation Authority. Firm Registration Number (FRN): 213244. Registered address: 31–39 Manchester Road, Burnley, Lancashire, BB11 1HG.
  2. The Refer a Friend Programme rewards existing account holders (“Referrers”) and their Friends/Family Members (“New Account Holders”) when the New Account Holder opens an account with Northern Community Bank.
  3. The promotional period runs from 12 November 2025 to 10 January 2026.
  4. Both the Referrer and the New Account Holder will receive £10 each when the New Account Holder successfully opens an account and meets all eligibility criteria.
  5. There is no limit to the number of New Account Holders an existing account holder may refer.
  6. Northern Community Bank reserves the right to amend or withdraw this promotion at any time.
  7. Promotion is only available for active account holders, junior and corporate accounts are not eligible.
  8. Both the Referrer and the New Account Holder must hold active Northern Community Bank accounts at the time the incentive is paid.
  9. A completed referral form must be submitted at the time of application. Incomplete or missing referral details will result in ineligibility for the incentive.
  10. All New Account Holders and their Referrers are eligible for the £10 incentive, subject to the following:• The Referrer’s name and account number must be provided at the point of application.
    • The Referrer must be an active Northern Community Bank account holder.
    • The New Account Holder must:
    • Make a single deposit of at least £10 into their savings account or have an approved loan with Northern Community Bank.
    • Deposit a minimum of £10 within 2 weeks of opening the account. Then maintain this balance for a minimum of a month or until the incentive is paid.
    • Not have been an account holder within the last 12 months.
    • Comply with all other requirements set out in Northern Community Bank’s standard terms and conditions: northerncommunitybank.co.uk/terms-and-conditions
    • Incentives will be paid within 30 days the New Account Holder opens their account, provided all requirements are met.
    • This promotion is valid only for active accounts.
  11. Northern Community Bank reserves the right to withhold or reclaim any referral incentive if we suspect fraud, misuse, or a breach of these Terms and Conditions
  12. Only one Referrer may be associated with each New Account Holder application. If multiple referrals are submitted, the first valid referral received will apply.
  13. All incentive payments will be made directly into the eligible account holder’s Instant Access account.
  14. All New Account Holders must meet Northern Community Bank’s standard membership eligibility criteria.
  15. By participating in this programme, Referrers confirm that they have the permission of the referred individual to share their details with Northern Community Bank.

  17. Northern Community Bank is not liable for technical issues, delays, or circumstances beyond our control that may affect referral submissions or incentive payments.
  18. Northern Community Bank’s decision on all matters relating to this promotion is final.
